Questions about cardio endurance, muscular endurance & m

Is it a good idea to train mucular endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance together? For example, if I run to improve my aerobic and anaerobic endurance, do I also need to do endurance work for the leg muscles, or will the running take care of that?

And if I am doing specific muscular endurance work, what sort of rep range should I use. A very light resistance for, say, a hundred reps, or a medium resistance for, say, 20? I need to avoid gaining muscle mass.

Are you asking if they should be trained in the same workout or...

If you only need one exercise to do both?

Personally,i see them as seperate entities.
I run,skip,shadow box,etc for cardio.
I weight train for strength.
I hit the heavy bag(for leg endurance this would be kicking) for endurance.

I meant one exercise for both.
