My back is used to it since the physios told me to do exercises three times a day and I've been following physio and other specialists for two years.
I know the training I listed was way too much, I know that.
But Please dont tell me that push ups twice a day is too much!?

First,i got the book wrong wrong. It's Beyond Bodybuilding, not naked warrior that describes the NASA method.backinjured wrote: However, when I'm practicing I usually do more than 10 push ups... I normally do like 3 or 4 sets of 20-30. And I'm training twice a day.
The point of this drill is you pick reps you can easily perform(not to failure) and perform them frequently.Whether your method of of 3-4 sets twice per day is better for you is down to experience. The best thing to do is pick a day with no other training and perform 1 set of your maximum reps.Try your method of training for a month and then try your max reps again. If they are the same as the first time, you haven't improved.
As a side note-This is a specialization method of training. It is only used to improve your capabilities for certain scenarios(Pavel uses the examples of the Marines or Spetznaz chin up test which needs to be passed to join up).I doubt anyone uses these techniques as a permanent training routine as they would take too much away from other areas of training.(The NASA program is performed every hour for 10 hours everyday).
You say you want to train twice per day everyday with the same exercises but have you got a reason why?
It won't won't make you stronger or faster, and endurance can be worked in other ways.

That depends on what is the range of rep numbers and what % of 1RM one overcomes (or what % of MVC--maximal voluntary contraction one generates) in each rep. See rules of thumb for conditioning at http://www.stadion.com/column_stretch29.html .dragon wrote: Increasing the reps of an exercise is only going to produce more endurance not your 1RM.
