Toss, flip and catch a baton. Practice one flip and catch, two flips and catch, three, and so on, to see how high you can toss it and still catch properly. Start with a straight stick or baton and move up to things where it is important to catch the handle--kamas, a hairbrush. Trains hand/eye coordination and timing.
