Our fire department recently began testing new recruits utilizing VO2max results. As a member of the recruitng committee, I'm going to take this test sometime down the road.
My question is, is there a specific type of training to increase one's VO2max? I'd imagine HIIT would be useful, but I'd like to hear from others.
Best way to increase VO2 max?
