I do Martial arts and have been following Mr. Kurz program for half a year. I run 2-3 times a week for 30 minuttes, raising my pulse up to my maximum aerobic heart rate. Which I have calculated as being about 149, (180 minus my age 31). My question is simply what happens if my heart rate goes above that? Does is subtract from the effectiveness of my training? During a run it may fluctuate so it swings between 147-152, would it be better if I made sure that it didn´t go above 149?
