Dear Mr. Kurz,
to improve aerobic fitness I run twice a week for around 40 minutes on the day after my strength training day.
According to column #19 my heart-rate value (180-age+5) should be 155.
I have been running for a good 7 years but bought a puls watch only 2 months ago.
The puls watch is supposed to be as accurat as a Doctors ECG but I' m having a hard time to maintain
a constant puls. I tried breathing in and out for 2 steps each and for 4 steps but my puls goes either to
high or to low.
Now I'm wondering if it is possible to run for 30 to 40 minutes w./ a certain puls and how to do that?

Try this: Run two or three days after your strength workout, or even take a week or two off your lifting weights and then do a few running workouts. See what happens.
