Achieving side and front splits separately

Post by dazharris »

For my own personal reasons I want to achieve the side splits before I start training for the front splits. Is this possible with the methods shown in Stretching Scientifically and Secrets of Stretching? Is there any disadvantage to doing it this way (other than time, which I'm not too bothered about)?

Yes, it is possible. It is even advised.
