hip alignment for low kicks vs high kicks
So Kurz describes how body alignments that work for low kicks do not work for high kicks, and that you need an anterior pelvis tilt to reach higher hip ROM when doing high kicks. So is the correct posture for low to medium kicks a neutral pelvis, i.e. hip is tucked in right underneath torso? I was testing out my side kicks, and it seemed much more powerful when I snapped my hips forward as I was kicking out. In other words, doing a "pelvic thrust" as you kick so that in the final position, hip is tucked in and there is a straight line btw torso, hip, and kicking leg)
