sparring

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good book or video/dvd specific to sparring? I'm new to karate and sparring and would like to figure out what to do or not to do during sparring. Thanks.

For kickboxing and karate-like martial arts I recommend Sabaki Method I, II, and III from Enshin Training Videos/DVDs at http://sabaki.enshin.com .

Thanks for the suggestion, Mr. Kurz. I recently purchased your book on flexibility and the DVD on Power High Kicks. I've found both of them to be very helpful. The footage of Mr. Mierzejewski at tournaments is very inspiring. Now I just have to put in the work to reap the results. Thanks for being so accessible!
