My questions thus far, Rest, over use, nutrition

Post by styleten »

Questions for Tom Kurz forum

What injuries can come from over stretching the squats and the split training. Can these injuries take place with weightless stretching?

How do i regulate from doing too much stretching.

can i do too many sets per day on accident?

How much rest is recommended. In the study mentioned in the book students who stretched daily were twice as flexible as those that worked every other day. If time and energy are available is multiple workouts per day a better option then just the 1 in the morning and 1 during the workout.

Nutrition for flexibility. Can i limit my specific nutrition to fish oil and water or are there other beneficial things that can have a significant impact on my progress.

All Questions can be answered in the Book, " Stretching Scientifically." It doesnt appear youve read the book clearly. Its all been explained.

The twice daily stretching is the Dynamic stretching. The isometric stretching generally should be done 2-4 times a week with a day recovery between sessions.Thats providing your ready for this type of Stretching. To be ready for this type of stretching you need to have a good level of Strength. Meaning you should have been involved in a specific strength program in my opinion for least a few months, 2 to 3 times a week.

But Its seems this as all gone over your head.

Yea i got the book. I didn't do a cover to cover read. I looked for information specific to my needs than used a forum for what a forum is used for. Questions you have had in the past were answered in books to. Yet you felt it was ok to ask a forum for answers. Why do you have this double standard?

Firstly any question I have asked are not related to the book. I.E Hip Clicking.

All what youve asked yourself is covered in the book to some degree I feel. You seem to be little confused between the different types of stretching. Anyway, my intention was not to be rude.

Tell me what your goals are, then ill try to help you abit better. Kick higher, front, split, side splits?
