Ischial Tuberosity Avulsion

Post by Ali_O »

Hi all,

I am 15 years old male and about a year and 5 months ago i fractured my right ischial tuberosity during a soccer game. I am still ont recovered and i dont participate in any sports activities. i am doing swim therapy but it only strengthens my hamstrings. The problem i have is that when i flex my right glute i feel a click. it feels as if the fractured bone clicks some how  . This doesnt allow me to run because when i do run i feel like i have to flex my glute due to a displacement of something by my fracture, im not sure if its the bone or what.

Any ideas on what it is and how to fix it? :?:

--(Ischial Tuberosity is the small bone that attaches the hamstrings to the hip)

--(Ischial Avulsion is the hamstrings pulling violently and fracturing the ischial tuberosity)
