Hello, i'm back with the question.
For the past few weeks or so I've been doing squats at the end of the workout (low weight high rep) -for connective tissue endurance. I'm noticing slight pain in my left knee again. I can't think of any other cause for this but squats. I felt the same thing when I was performing hindu squats 1 year ago.
Pain is in the center of the knee (I don't know how to describe it correctly), it is not the muscle. It's only in the left knee.
Any thoughts ??
Thanks.
knee pain
If your knees come far over the toes during squat it does put more stress on the knees.
There used to be an exercise performed by bodybuilders(although i've never seen any do it in recent years!) called the sissy squat. Here is a link:-

Although this is an extremely exaggerated version of the knees passing the toes you can see how it might cause problems.Gives me pain just watching it!

It is hard to imagine someone could perform that.
In my case its maybe just slight movement over the toes (although I can't see it while performing - trying to have good posture and looking up).
But I can't think of any other reason, in general my legs are strong. I guess I'll have to think of something.
Thanks for your input Dragon.
