Hi! I practice yoga but lately I've been facing a problem with my ankle. Sometimes, during my day, I'll feel an acute pain in the outside of my ankle. I know that this comes from overstretching my ankle in the yoga seating postures. For example, the seating posture siddhasana (http://www.lendricklodge.com/content/im ... -floor.jpg) emphasizes that your heel touches the perineum. My problem is this: I love practicing yoga, and there are reasons for the seating postures being how they are. Do you know about any way of seating that way without overstretching my ankle? or any specific exercise to strengthen the ankle?
