Hello
Hello
I recently began posting, as you might have noticed. I thought I provide a little background information. I'm a dude, 38, 5'9", and 165 lb. I've been generally active all my life. I swam competitively in high school (we were state champs 3 years in a row), played water polo in college (OSU). I rock climbed avidly for about 4 years. Search for "Narcissus" on youtube, and you'll see one of my favorite climbs. My wife and I ran our first and only marathon in October of 2005. We're planning on doing another. Don't know when, though. I took tkd lessons (that the right way to say that?) for about 2.5 years. I quit. I stumbled onto this site about 2 years ago and have since read all the articles, Mr. Kurz's Sports Science book, and others. I have the Secrets of Stretching DVD. My current goal is to complete Article 19 and also achieve the splits. My ultimate goal is to be able to keep up with my children until they slow down too. I have one 8-month old right now. Hope to see more activity here.
