I am about a foot off the floor when I go into the front split position (right foot in front and left leg behind). When I stay in the stretch for about 20 seconds. I feel pulling behind the front right knee.
Is this because my hamstrings are not flexible enough?
I saw a video that if the knee is slightly bent it will relieve the pulling since that may be related to the tendons or ligaments being stretched.
Please advise.
