Back Extensions on the Bench

Post by methodman »

Dear Mr.Kurz

I don't have access to the bench that is shown in your dvd so I can't test my strength to see if I can lift 1/3 for 15reps. Is there any other way to test if I have suffcient lower back strenght?

Will this kind of machine do the job for strengthing the lower back?

Thank you for your time.

Thanks you Mr.Kurz for the answer. I will start to use this kind of bench again. In the past I avoided it because Fred Hatfield and Micheal Yessis talked against this type of design and prefered the one you show in your stretching dvd.

I have a 45 degree one like that at the gym, but it's also cool to have a 90 one too, which I got at home.
